Tell  us a bit about yourself...

I've lived on the Sunshine Coast for 15 years and I grew up on the Gold Coast.  I have always sewn and started my first label at 15, making binkins.  I studied fashion design at art collge and learnt all the basics of design, patternmaking and putting clothes together.

Frock Star Pg 62-63
Fashion: Briseis Onfray

Designer Genius
Words: Elizabeth Moore

As with any fashionable love affair, France has played a leading part. For Buderim mother-of-four Leonie MacLeod, the small seaside town of Honfleur, famed and framed by Impressionist painters a century ago, was the catalyst to launch an eminently wearable, travel-friendly fashion label she would name Verily. For her daughter Hannah MacLeod, it was the sophistication and centuries-old substance of Paris and its famous fashion scene that spurred her design career, since seen on the illustrious pages of Russh, Famous, Ragtrader, Cleo, Teen Vogue and Shop Til You Drop magazines.... read more
